What is a Democratic Precinct Delegate? Precinct delegates are elected officials of the Democratic Party who represent the neighborhoods where they live. The active precinct delegate wins elections for Democratic candidates. Strong precinct delegates generate higher voter turnout in underserved neighborhoods, especially in midterm and local elections.
